Weekly Message May 30

Weekly online Worship:

Many thanks to all those who made for a wonderful online meeting of over 200 people from the Prairie to Pine region of the United Church of Canada May 28-30th. Our worship this week includes some of the richness that was part of that meeting. We hope you enjoy it.

Several of us from Harrow, along with folks from United Church communities of faith throughout Manitoba and part of Northwestern Ontario, have been gathered online for the annual meeting of the Prairie to Pine Region of the United Church of Canada. The worship link above contains elements of some of the worship from that meeting. We hope you enjoy sharing in this ‘wider’ network of the United Church.

Besides the worship above, you might like to tune into the Region’s Celebration of Worship which will be premiered on Sunday, May 30 at 10am

Please bring your communion elements.

Every Child Matters

In response to the news about the discovery of at least 215 bodies of children buried on the grounds of a former Indian Residential School in Kamloops, the National Centre for Truth and Reconciliation invites us to join in prayers. Here is the invitation:

Please remember also in your prayers:

All those affected by the strain of providing medical care in the midst of the pandemic and the tremendous stress on our health care system. THANK YOU to all who are working under such challenging circumstances.

Our prayers are also with those who are grieving, those who are ill, and those who are living in the midst of fear, violence, hunger, oppression or danger, whether they be near to us or far away.

Sunday coffee every week from 10 to 10:40am.

You’re always welcome for Sunday morning coffee and conversation. This is a great time to see some familiar Harrow faces, to meet new people, to chat about our lives and the world, and just enjoy some time together. The zoom link (same every week) for Sunday coffee is:
